High School Lesson Plans

SUCCESS.

These lessons were designed for struggling students, failed by classroom setting and overwhelmed with feelings of personal failure.
These lesson plans are geared toward the interest of my children and can be easily used by your child.
High school homeschooling doesn't have to be hard, in fact, it can be a redeeming time of overcoming the obstacles
of learning challenges and social challenges, with lessons that help them explore their talents and passions so they can graduate with pride.

High School Electives.

My lesson plans aren't for every home schooler. *They are not 'college ready' courses. *This curriculum are not Common Core compliant.
These lessons were designed for my children with learning challenges and low self esteem (failed by the public school system) to help them find confidence in their life purpose and to bring them to a place of feeling successful in their ability to learn new skills and acquire knowledge.
Lessons successfully used by children labeled with dyslexia, dysgraphia, autism spectrum, ADD, ADHD, FASD, PANDAS and a host of unnamed learning challenges.

With this 3 part semester and a half course, we were able to meet our requirements for science, career and electives for high school credit.

This course is from a Perspective of Christian (someone who believes humans were CREATED with purpose) a unique perspective to the course of psychology. A unique combination of college freshmen lectures supplemental resources at a high school level.

Based on the free ebook Success for Teens. This semester long course helps to guide students to changing personal habits, choosing a positive perspective and setting goals. I saw it boost confidence and instill hope in students that it is possible to take small positive steps towards a goal and it will make a difference over time.
