Industrial Revolution Unit Study
This is a collection of my teacher resources for the Industrial Revolution both the Revolution in England and that found in America. These divisions are further broken down by topic including a basic summary, child labor and immigration. I have also included my weekly lesson plans and curriculum with activities and worksheets, printable and hands on crafts.

The 1st Industrial Revolution 1750-1850 The Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain in the 1700’s, when machines were first used to produce items that had previously been made by hand. The Industrial Revolution was not a war fought with soldiers or guns, but it changed society and the individual’s role in society as completely as any war ever could. The 2nd Industrial Revolution The first Industrial Revolution, which began in the 18th century, merged into the Second Industrial Revolution around 1850, when technological and economic progress gained momentum with the development of steam-powered ships, railways, and later in the 19th century with the internal combustion engine and electrical power generation.
