I homeschool because I love being around my children
I adore being around my kids and watching them grow, interact and mature. I love watching their compassion with each other and those around them. I love seeing their face light up when they finally 'got it' on a concept that they struggled. I love their desire to better themselves and change the world.
Jennifer says...One of the many reasons is Family togetherness, extended childhood, love of learning is prolonged, I have a monopoly on teaching moments... so I can instill good morals and be there when the kids need me most, customized curriculum and goals, etc.
