Our Daily History lesson planner
My thoughts on how I will design our lessons...
At the top of each Daily Lesson Unit will be
our topic with a brief introduction. * Adding links to different multimedia resources *Art and Music
Lessons will be completed every other day (most students completing 2 lessons a day)
I have alternate activities for younger students or struggling readers.
There is a lot of writing - this year we will focus on journaling thoughts and answering questions. I also have resources for drawing and artwork to add.
L= grades 2nd - 4th
M= 5th - 9th
I want the students to be able to SEE what is expected, Complete their work independently. Those self motivated students could finish up required readings quickly so I have stocked books and created safe web searches for them to explore topics of interest.
As students complete their topics early I will have them participate in designing a unit study, adding links to the website.
